What Is The SmallBiz Web Design Guide?

I get a number of questions from many potential and existing clients when discussing web site design and online marketing. The nature of many of these questions are rudimentary for me, but demonstrates that there is a huge amount of misinformation and a lack of understanding out in the small business world about web sites and their effective use.

Additionally, the web industry is going through continual change. Web technology improves. Internet marketing techniques evolve. Search engine optimization becomes more and more important. These issues are often unknown to the small business community and the knowledge gap widens as time goes by.

These are in no way intended to be derogotory statements. A small business owner knows their business, but often go to experts for assitance outside of their realm of expertise. I envision this web site as your repository for web site design information in an attempt to answer the most pressing issues, provide a basic web site knowledge, and keep you up-to-date on new developments.
